A great smartphone at a smashingly good price
Until the iPhone 5 is launched, the HTC One X is likely to be the most potent rival to the Samsung Galaxy S3. The device was launched together with two other HTC smartphones at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona in February.
It can be preordered from BuyMobilesPhones for as little as ?472 on O2 with a 21 per cent down payment and ?15.50 per month on a two year contract (the original contract price is ?21.50, just make sure you remove the 500MB data allowance before you use it to save ?6 per month).
The O2 100 Internet All Rounder package includes 100 cross network minutes, 500 texts and 20 photo messages which won't suit most users which means that the contract is for the phone rather than the bundle.
Note that the One X will be locked to O2 and can only be used on Tesco Mobile and GiffGaff. The phone itself is a pretty powerful device with a quad core Nvidia Tegra 3 processor clocked at 1.5GHz, 1GB RAM, 32GB onboard storage, an eight megapixel camera with full HD vieo recording, NFC, a 4.7-inch 1,280 by 720 pixel display and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
