Candidate releases ?attack song? against opponent

Washington, DC city council candidate Ron Moten (campaign site)Political attacks have been around as long as government itself, and they've stretched across all mediums from the paper flier to memes on social media sites like Twitter.

But Washington, D.C. city council candidate Ron Moten has taken a different route with his new salvo against council member Yvette Alexander, releasing an "attack song," that bemoans Alexander's record.

The Washington City Paper has posted the song, which is built around the chorus, "All I want to say is Yvette don't really care about us."

The Washington Post notes that that this song is only the latest is a series of musical offerings from the self-described "civil-rights Republican" Moten.
