China Vacation Part 1

I know that this post has been a while in the making, so I will cut right to the chase. I will split my vacation overview into two parts with many pictures. Enjoy:

Jiang Jia Jie: Mountains, lots and lots of mountains. They call them the ?avatar mountains? because they served as inspiration to James Cameron for the hit movie Avatar. They had a lot of photo taking booths where you could sit on a flying dragon from the movie and they will Photoshop you into a scene. The mountains also had a lot of wild monkeys that were pretty domesticated from all the tourists.

Feng Huang: Aka, the phoenix city. This was my favorite scenic spot on the trip. Feng Huang is basically an Asian Venice that preserves a lot of its ancient wood stilt architecture. Surprisingly, Feng Huang also has a lively bar scene that lights up the city during the night. It was interesting watching the contrast of a city that looked like an old ancient river town during the day and an electrified and somewhat modern town during the night. Feng Huang was a highlight of my trip and it?s funny that I had only heard about this place through Tumblr.

Stay tuned for pictures and vacation part 2!
